Flowery sewn shirts!

Here's an exciting development! These are three shirts that I made for the christmas Market Collective. They are each completely one of a kind. I randomly printed the pattern on the shirts, in a different location and formation on each one. Then I chose some floral fabric that I thought would go well, cut out some individual flowers and then sewed them on! Lots of fun!

Two of the above shirts have sold already, but I've got some more done up! Fun!

Poutine Poster

Wow! It's been a while since I've posted something! Eesh! Lots of new stuff to show though, so here we go!

Here's a poster I did for Sid and her band's 5 day tour in Ontario. POUTINE!!! I loved the absolute creative freedom I was given! And I think this just may be the first time I have EVER done something using the classic black white and red colour combo. I think I may be using these colours again! Who would have thought! :)

MUMBLE TIKES!!!

Here's an extremely exciting development for Mumble Tease! A new line of KIDS CLOTHING!!! So far I've only got the two designs, but we'll see how these go at some upcoming markets, and if things go as well as I think they might, look out for lots of kiddies stuff in the future. Such cuteness! 

Monsters with Chika!

These are some collaborative paintings I did with my friend Chika for a group show at The Untitled Arts Society called Ampersand 3. All the pieces in the show were done collaboratively. 

I've shown here the paintings, but also some of the sketches that the paintings were based off of. The drawings themselves were done by both of us, with each of us beginning a sketch, and then switching books after random amounts of time until we agreed that they were done. We sketched 20 or so monsters and then chose our favourite six to actually use for the paintings. Which we have even sold already! Neat!

Beekeeper Shirts

These are some shirts I designed and printed for the band Beekeeper, who are playing a show at the Palamino in Calgary, next Thursday, October the 27th. I quite like how this one turned out! Go check out the show and buy a shirt!

A large collaboration with Chika!

This is a collaborative painting I did with my dear friend Chika!! We painted the address on her neighbor's garage door. And now they are the envy of the block! 

I did some custom pieces for a couple of ladies who saw my work at a festival this summer and wanted different colour combinations and different quotes.

Scene and Heard

Look! My first shirts printed in four colours on my lovely new four colour printing press dealie!!! This is very exciting! They are for a club at the university that lets students know about arts events around Calgary and provides discounted tickets. It was a great chance to test out the new equipment! I think they turned out pretty well... 

And then below are the logo and some variations on it that I provided to go along with the new shirts! 

I like small things!

I got myself yet another sketchbook! This time it's a really little, really cute one! When closed it measures  4.25 by 6 inches. Here are the first few exciting things to come out of it!
